Bring Your Own Beamer

September 21, 2017

- September 23 |19.30 - 22.30|

Collaborative moving image, projection, participation and experimentation.

BYOB Brighton is now its 6th year and is moving to Brighton's West Pier.

Find a space, invite artists, ask them to bring a projector.
The idea is simple but the outcome is a creative free-for-all of light and colour.

Pop-up Brighton’s night of experimentation and collaboration returns once again for Brighton Digital Festival offering the audience a chance to enter a world of projection. With curated projection based installations, a short film cinema and an area where people can turn up and project.

VR Arcade

September 29, 2017

- October 1 |19:00 - 21:00|

Make Real presents a pop-up VR arcade. Explore in-house made VR games and a VR film.

Enter the whimsical wooden world of Loco Dojo and step up to Grand Sensei’s ‘Table of Trials’ to pit your silliest skills against friends or strangers in this hilariously competitive party game.

Discover a wealth of wacky uses for VR motion controllers woven through sixteen ridiculous minigames that will see you milking pigs, boxing eggs, stacking moles, whacking urchins, throwing biscuits and a whole lot more. Perform well and win a pile of Golden Suns to please Grand Sensei, earning the right to enter his temple where overall victory can be claimed in an asymmetric showdown of epic absurdity.

Whilst you wait we have a breath-taking VR film for you to watch. The film will take you out of this world.

This event will take place on Brighton seafront next to the i360 in the Pop-Up Brighton & Exploring Senses LAB. This event is part of Brighton Digital Festival.
