A two month pop-up celebrating everything pride from Trans Pride to Free the Nipple.

The artist curated space has been designed by artist iiish as a colourful playful installation using bold colours and soft furniture to create a truly welcoming space.

We will be running exhibitions in the space for Trans Pride / Free the Nipple and Pride celebrating diversity in the artist community.

The bar will be open every Thursday - Sunday in this unique space, and open to all.

Special events focusing on arts and LGBTQ+ will be happening at least once a week.

As Brighton Pride approaches we will be exhibiting queer artists work in 2D, 3D and selling items in our shop. 

Looking for artwork and events and people to run workshops for our special pre-pride preparation party.

Free the Nipple

 

Free the nipple is a protest for women and trans folk to reclaim their bodies, smash the stigma surrounding nipples and normalise ALL breasts to prove that they are not ruled by the male gaze.

Pop-Up Brighton is supporting Free The Nipple Brighton by having the march end at our Prideful Pop-Up on Saturday. We will have female DJ's, the bar will be open with outdoor seating and there will be food stalls! All for free 3-11pm.
 

Under the Skin

Under the Skin is the official exhibition of Trans Pride Brighton. This show is a free platform for trans and non-binary artists to display their work through the Trans Pride week in the new prideful pop-up on the seafront.

This open brief show has been curated by guest curator; trans artist and life model Jared Cobain.

The weekend before Trans Pride Brighton we're hosting the official poetry night.

 

Trans + non-binary poets and spoken word artists are invited to get up and have the floor in an informal setting in the prideful themed space on Brighton seafront.

The evening will be hosted by Jared Cobain with our bar open. The event is open to everyone to attend, it is a free event.

Trans Pride Brighton invites you along to Pop Up Brighton for a friendly arts n crafts making session for making placards, signs and art work to take along to the TPB March happening on Saturday 21st July!

We will have some cardboard, paints and pens that all are welcome to use, but feel free to bring some of your own along or donate any unwanted bits :) 

 

4th August 10am-3pm

We know that pride can be hard for those of us in the LGBTQ+ community on low or no income so we're having a weekend of free and affordable events.

Starting off with a big community breakfast. We'll be serving pancakes bloody mary's and mimosa's outside in our beautiful terrace looking out directly to the West Pier and it's pay-as-you-feel. Enjoy an affordable pride breakfast in the only community queer art gallery also with non-stop disco!We're on the parade route too so we got it all covered.
