somewhereto_ is a UK wide youth project delivered by Pop-Up Brighton  and funded by a £7m grant from the Big Lottery Fund to support its nationwide expansion to 2016. Helping 16-25 year olds access free spaces in their communities, to launch and develop creative and enterprising endeavours.

Whether young people are interested in music, fashion, art, science, tech, theatre, sport or starting an enterprise, somewhereto_ is the space that allows young people the freedom to realise their potential, kick-start ideas, sell their products or services, showcase creative concepts and boost their skills.

Now somewhereto_ south east is being delivered by Pop-Up Brighton.

We have a number of projects for young people aged 16-25 want to get involved? Enter the shows for free, click HERE

Pop-Up Brighton and somewhereto_

"Pop-Up Brighton never would of got off the ground if it wasn't for somewhereto_. I tried to get a shop space to do a pop-up gallery for months before I found somewhereto_. I told them what I wanted and they said ‘leave it with me’ a few months later I had a phone call saying they had a shop for me. That was it, my relationship with somewhereto_ started.

My third Pop-Up Brighton show SoundScreen needed an unusual space, a grand space somewhereto again accommodated my needs.

After that I was then asked to curate a number of shows in London. I got to organise and curate a street art show in Graffik Gallery and even a show in John Lewis.

Then later on in the year got to take over the whole of Brighton Dome to put on Bring Your Own Beamer with somewhereto_. A massive venue, a huge take over and a lot of artists exhibiting.

Now in 2014 somewhereto_ have asked me to deliver somewhereto_ in the south east and I couldn't be happier. They helped me to be able to do the things I love and now I’ll be able to help other ambitious like-minded people."
